Why do children sleep horizontal in bed?
Both kids came into our bed last night. I'm guessing the storm woke them up. We have a king and I'm still in the edge bracing myself not to fall off, lol.

Why do children sleep horizontal in bed?
One I’m jealous you posted this at almost 9 and your kids are sleeping  and two, I think they just sprawl out! My kids do the same!

Lol. My DD sleeps with us in a king bed and I wake up in pain every morning. I dont know how I fall asleep with the little bit of room I have. No wonder I'm always exhausted.

Why do children sleep horizontal in bed?
Mine fell out of a king size bed on vacation. One minute she was in the middle, the next she was on the floor.
She’s going to be in a toddler bed for the foreseeable future.

Whenever I share a bed with DD- like on vacation- she ends up with her feet in my ribs. Every single time.
It harkens me back to the days she was in my womb and would have her feet in my ribs!

Why do children sleep horizontal in bed?
One of my kids sleeps amazing - doesnt move a muscle.
The other is doing acrobatics all night.
I dont sleep with them often!

Thought of you all last night
My five year old was horizontal in his twin bed, which is pushed up against the wall. His feet were kicking the wall all night. His head was almost hanging off the other side.
My nine year old has a full sized bed and he also was completely horizontal
So so weird

DH always says he doesn't mind the kids in the bed with us. That's because they aren't literally hanging off of him all day AND then all night. He sleeps with his back to me and DD while she either clings to me or turns horizontal and pushes me off the bed with her feet in my neck.
