Why did I buy Uggs if I can't wear them in the snow and/or rain??
I'm all for fashion over function, but this is ridiculous! I must be living under a rock b/c I seriously thought the point of Uggs was to wear them in bad weather?? Mine are black and some specks of moisture have hit them and they look like crap. What gives??

That is exactly why I don't want to get them even though I like them.
$150 dolars for WHAT??? If I can't wear them in the rain and snow they are useless. I know there is some kind of spray you can use but it is still not %100 proof...

FYI... they hold up just fine in the snow. Just gotta weatherproof them. I wear mine in the snow and they're doing great.

i wear mine in the snow and even rain if its not pouring and they look great!

I wear mine in the snow.. and I'm sure I've been caught in the rain in them. I never weatherproofed any of my uggs and they still look in perfect condition..

Same here. I waterproofed them and I've had no problems. I've worn my sand colored Uggs on days where we received 8-10 inches of snow and they have absolutely no water damage.

Mine were fine in the snow and rain and filth of Midtown NYC streets -
They are not, however Water PROOF - so your feet will get wet and miserable - But the UGGS always dried just fine - I used that spray stuff to weather proof them .........
They're really cold weather boots, not snow boots - They're just warm and comfy -

I used scotch guard on mine. I just figured for $250 they would actually be functional, but I'm so paranoid about ruining them

I have waterproofed mine using uggs weather proof and it worked but it gave the suede a very hard texture, they are rough to touch. I will never buy another pair again- total waste- my sketchers held up 100 times better!

My black uggs are destroyed. Even after I weatherproofed them they got white makes from the snow/salt and they are no longer black but a nasty dirty looking shade of grey! 
My stone ones still look great, never wore in rain or snow.

that is exactly what happened to mine, my black uggs have this wavy white line on them and are all faded from one day in the snow.
A good friend of mine left hers by the fireplace to dry, and they grew mold inside
so now I just wear them for cold weather, if its wet out I wear something else

I know they sell the water-proofing spray for them, but I have done that in the past on other suede items and they always got ruined anyway. so I only wear my UGGs when it's cold but sunny. there are plenty of those days too.
