I've had both doses of moderna.
First shot- a sore arm- like someone punched me really hard and it was painful to do things, like wash my hair.
Second dose- I got at 2PM, by 9PM, I started to feel tired and achy. woke up in middle of the night shivering from chills, but was too weak/achy to get an extra blanket. Couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. That whole next day, I was achy, chills/sweating, temp about 100, bad headache- felt like I had the flu. By the next day, I was about 80% better, still weak/tired. Woke up the next day completely fine.
Same. 2nd dose knocked me on my ass for sure. I had chills/fever/nausea so bad I was vomiting while sweating with the chills. It felt like the worst flu of my life.
If we have to get a booster, I am praying I will not feel like this again. Just the thought of it makes me feel queasy.

Which Vaccine did you get?
First shot of Pfizer - hardly any arm pain- maybe level 2 out of 10. Less sore than any flu shot I’ve gotten. I feel like the nurse did a really good job 
Brutal headache started shortly after, but I think it was because of my period and not the shot, since I’m prone to headaches at my period anyway.
36 hours later and I’m totally fine.
Nervous for #2 though!

I got my first dose of Pfizer. No side effects. A little bruise like feeling at the injection site but that's it. We shall see what #2 brings.
I got my second dose. Everything was fine. A little arm soreness. The second day, after work, I felt a little wiped out but other than that, totally fine.

DW got Pfizer. Sore arm first shot. Slight headache after 2nd shot.
I got Moderna. Sore arm first shot for about 2 days. About 12 hours after shot, I started feeling symptoms. I assumed I would have chills, so I had extra blankets on. I had chills for a few hours during the night, but the chills stopped after a few hours. For almost exactly 24 hours, I felt body aches and fatigue. No headache and no temp.

Which Vaccine did you get?
Pfizer. First shot the only side effect was sore arm. Second shot the side effects were sore arm, slight chills and body aches around 12 hours later.

So I had my second Pfizer shot this past weekend and got all the side effects - really sore arm, chills, fever, headache, nausea...the works!!! Feeling better today but have a foggy head. Hoping to get back to normal soon!!

Got my first dose of Pfizer about 24 hrs ago. So far, so good. My arm is pretty sore and I'm a little more tired than normal but otherwise okay. I'm relieved as I've read that post-COVID people can sometimes have a more intense reaction to the first shot, thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case for me up to this point. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Which Vaccine did you get?
Pfizer number 2 last week. ZERO side effects other than a really sore arm for 3 days. (Which I’m not going to complain about!)

1st shot sore arm for a few days.
2nd shot arm a little sore, developed red Circle around shot area, day of the shot my arm felt tight as if it was swollen, broke out in rash day 2 on torso from neck to stomach, swollen neck gland only on left side

Which Vaccine did you get?
I got my 1st dose of Pfizer on Sunday. A few hours later, my arm was very sore and it lasted most of the next day. Today, I'm fine.

Shot 2 of Pfizer done! 48 hours later and zero side effects other than a slightly sore arm and a little fatigue on the first day. Same with shot #1. Happy to have both of my shots done!

My son got his first shot of Pfizer on Thursday afternoon. He had a sore arm and could only lift it a little bit on Friday. By Saturday morning (today) his arm was fine. He also had a slight headache for an hour or two.

Thanks! So far so good! One of the chemo meds, Rituximab, makes the vaccine way less effective so I’ll be behaving like I’m not vaccinated for a long time, but it’s good to have a little bit of protection!

I know this is old, but anyone have upper back pain with Pfizer? Had my 2nd dose yesterday around 5pm. Woke up at 5am achey legs, back pain, chills etc. So miserable! Not sure if the back pain is from the shot or from a photoshoot I was moving all around for last night.

Yes, I had that, but I also have scoliosis.

DH had shoulder pain, but the interesting thing was he had spent a large part of the year going to PT and doctor's for a torn rotator cuff. When he complained to me about it, I remembered that someone I knew that normally suffers from back pain complained of back pain from the vaccine.
I told DH, I guess the vaccine, doing what it is supposed to, increases inflammatories- and if you already have an inflamed area, that's where you are probably going to feel it.
Perhaps it was a combination of the vaccine and photoshoot.

I got 2nd on Friday and had shoulder/ upper back pain.

Pfizer back in mid April. Only felt fatigue after both shots and arm soreness.
Cant wait to get my booster shot when it’s approved. Never got Covid and doing my best to avoid it. I wear a mask everywhere except outdoors. I wish people were more open minded about how important it is to get vaccinated. Its an extra layer of protection, we can still get Covid but the chances of dying are significantly reduced.
