where to buy area rugs?
I found one I like, but it's a little too small. I need an 8x10, blue and green, and don't want to spend more than a few hundred $.

We just bought a 10x13 at Lowes. I think it was around $368 which wasn't too bad for the size. They have some nice rugs there, I would check them out.

Montauk Carpet on 110 is good. They let you buy a rug and you have 3 days to return it for a full refund if you don't like it. I returned a rug after getting it into the room (just didn't look right) and had no issues. They have a bunch of different price ranges and a good selection.

I don't know where you are located, but they are using the Levitz on Old Country Road as a store for rugs now. I guess they are trying to sell off that part of their inventory. It may be worth taking a look.

I've always had luck at Home Goods. Good quality wool rugs, 8X10, for under $500.

believe it or not, I love the ones I got from lowes and HD.
When Macy's has a sale, you can find nice ones there too.

overstock.com - we just bought a rug there and it was delivered the next day. they have loads of choices and the prices are great.
