Yes Eden and I won't stay anywhere else. It's amazing amd the kid's spray/splash area really seals the deal.

Great, thanks girls! Dutch Wonderland is appropriate for an almost 3 year old and a little older than 2 yr old, right?

Eden is GREAT!! Their pool area is amazing and so relaxing. You really feel like you are on vacation. My kids loved the free ice cream given out around the pool. It's a great place. They often has specials if you look on their site.

Where did you stay at Dutch Wonderland?

We stayed directly across the street at the country inn's and suites. It was great because they had a good continental breakfast selection, we went to the park at open (walked) went back to the hotel for nap time. I drove to Wawa down the block and got sandwiches and stuff for lunch. Affter nap we went back to the park again. Left and went to dinner, back to hotel and we were done for the night! It worked out perfectly for us.

Re: Where did you stay at Dutch Wonderland?

If we do Hershey during the same trip - can we still stay at Eden or us that too far?

It's about 30-45 minutes to Hershey from the Lancaster area, so no matter where you stay in Lancaster, it's about the same. The only thing you will be missing out on is the free preview for Hershey, as it's a drive just do to the 2.5 hours IMO.

We went to both Hershey and Dutch Wonderland and stayed at Eden. Did not mind the ride to Hershey. Was not that far at all. Think it took us 30 min to get too. Driving around was no big deal. No traffic.

We usually get the 1 bedroom suite.
King size bed for us and a separate living room area to put the pack n play or portable crib they provide.
Also has a small kitchette area- with a fridge and microwave...great for storing milk and snacks and heating up a quick meal

Us too, stayed at Eden and did both parks. About half an hour to Hershey - no big deal at all.

You are better off booking directly through the hotel. Most 3rd parties require full payment and have stringent cancellation policies.

I would not do a package. You can find discounted tickets for Hershey on ebay. I usually pay no more than $30 for Hershey. Dutch doesn't ofter many discounts, but I've seen $3-$5 off coupons in the past.

Re: Where did you stay at Dutch Wonderland?

We stayed at Eden. It's a nice hotel with a great pool area. We stayed in a 1 bedroom (king suite) and what I didn't like about it is that since it's railroad style, there are no windows in the living room area. Felt a bit claustrophobic. Our friends felt the same way. It's also on a main road. Certainly not deal breakers (we'd return!), but just wanted to point that out.
