when to switch lipa/cable etc to new house?
if you're moving from house to house and just want to relocate your service, when do you call companies like lipa and cablevision to set these things up?
for instance, if our moving date is january 7th...

I would turn on LIPA before the moving date so you can bring things over to the house before hand. Cablevision you should call soon so you can try to get an appointment as close to your moving date as possible.

When you have the keys in your hand or day of closing if you know the Seller is going to be vacating the house by then.
Wanted to add, LIPA is just a quick phone call, we actually called on the way to the closing. Cable you would have to call and set up an appt for them to come and install everything.

We called ours when we got the closing date and were able to to set up dates/times for them to switch everything over.
