Re: When should you start using stretch mark cream?

I started to use it once I had a little bit of a belly. I know they say it's all genetics. But this is what I did with DD and not one stretch mark. So I'm doing it again. Chat Icon

Re: When should you start using stretch mark cream?

You can use it immediately-for me, they never worked. I tried Palmer's Stretch Mark cream, Bio-Oil, etc. I still have stretch marks Chat Icon

It is definitely worth a shot, but I do believe it is genetics. Chat Icon

I started right away with just Cocoa Butter. I had stretch marks growing up, so I'm sure I will be getting them Chat Icon If it gets bad, I will try some more specific stretch mark products.

I started almost immediately after I got my BFP. I use Palmers Cocoa Butter. It's still too early to tell if it works but I'm praying for no stretch marks!

Re: When should you start using stretch mark cream?

I started around 9-10 weeks when i noticed my tummy was no longer flat - I started out using palmers tummy butter tummy butter and switched to tummy butter by spoiled mama.... i alternate now because the spoiled mama tummy butter is $30 for a little jar. So far at 21-22 weeks I have no stretch marks and my skin isn't itchy yet.

I've been using bio-oil and palmers since early on, but I still have them. With my first pg I only got a few on the bottom of my belly and they showed up at the end of the pg.

With this one, even though I am using all that stuff, they showed up early and are multiplying Chat Icon

Re: When should you start using stretch mark cream?

I never used any creams with DS#1 and didn't get any stretch marks.

I heard they don't really work and that genetics play a big factor, and as well as how fast you gain weight, and generally how hydrated your skin it.
