I would go where I got the best deal--out of the "good" hotels.
By "good" I mean, good location on the strip (middle), and fairly new.
We stayed at the Paris and loved it..we had gone years before and stayed at Treasure Island. While it was nice IMO it was too far from the center of the strip.

If price doesn't matter then I say The Venetian! But the Mirage and Treasure Island are really nice and in a great location. I also love NY, NY!

i've stayed at NY, NY and Mirage and have loved both experiences. they are at opposites ends of the strip though, depending on what you're looking for. Mirage is a little closer to the center of the strip then NY NY. DH and I said we want to stay at the Venetian next time

We just stayed at Wynn last month. Tower suite room. It was awesome.
I also really like the rooms at The Palazzo and The Hotel.

after you stay at a wynn or encore, everything else will pale in comparison.
they are two very well done hotels.
this is just my opinion of course
