What would you wear to a bridal shower at a restaurant?

Just looking for some examples of cute outfits to wear to a bridal shower in two weeks.
What do you think of a white button down short sleeve top with a black pencil skirt and tiny belt? My DH said I look like a waitress.
I want a pair of skinny black ankle crop pants but I couldn't find any at the mall today. does anyone know where I can find a pair?

I would probably wear a nice pair of skinny jeans and a pretty top to go with it and jewlery..

the outfit you described is something I'd wear to work (although I'm not a waitress lol)

I love the minnie pant from j crew.

the fit is amazing.

You could substitue skinny jeans for the skirt for the shower and wear nice accessories and you wont look like a waitress.

I would probably get a little more dressed than jeans for a shower – one step up. I think if the shirt wasn’t white or the skirt wasn’t black your outfit would be fine – black and white together can look like a waitress uniform. I would probably do either a day dress or skirt and top with a cardigan, possibly belted.

I'd wear a nice black skirt with a fancy top or a pretty dress ( usually something from Anthropologie or Anthropologie esque. )

i went to one on Sat and wore black pants and a blouse. Pg or not, i'd likely wear the same thing. Everyone there was in pants and sweaters or blouses, including the bridesmaids.
