what were the complaints about return policy at BRU?
i remember reading on here months ago about BRU return policy being cr@py... can anyone fill me in? i have a feeling that ill be recieving tons of duplicates my family doesnt always give the registry when checking out

Basically in order to return anything to BRU or TRU you must have a receipt. I think some girls have had marginal success returning things when the items purchased were from the registry - but even that is iffy.

I returned every single I needed to. Some had receipts and some were off the registry. Some had neither. I had no problem whatsoever.

it's not crappy, it's just strict. you must have a receipt and it must be returned within 90 days of purchase.
the issue is really that sometimes certain items don't come off of your registry when people buy them (they either forget to tell the cashier or their is a computer error), so sometimes you get duplicates.
most people giving gifts will get you a gift receipt but if not, and you need to return it, you can always try BBB.

i did NOT have any gift receipts for what i got at my shower and i returned two things (one for $84.99 and one for $10.99).
BOTH items were on my registry and i guess they didn't come off in time and someone else got the same thing - but i had NO ISSUE whatsoever!!!!

as i said - i did NOT have any gift receipts and returned two things - no questions asked! they WERE on my registry though....so who knows....
