What week did you start sharing your news?
I'm so excited and I want to tell everyone but I'm keeping it quiet and posting under this name until I make sure everything is good.

We told our parents & siblings around week 8. Everyone else we waiting till I was done with the first trimester.

We actually told many people right away (close friends and family). Co-workers I slowly told as time went on. Our philosophy is - if god forbid something were to happen, these are the people we would turn to for support and strength. I think it is a very personal decision, you have to wait until you are comfortable.

Last time I told my mom at 7 wks and we planned to tell the rest of the immediate family at DH's 30th birthday dinner at almost 9 wks. We found out the pg wasn't viable before the dinner. So, instead of sharing our good news, we shared our bad news.
Since after that, our immediate families now know we were on the baby track so we actually told them all pretty much right away with this one (parents and siblings know already and I'm just over 5wks). We didn't think it made sense to keep it a secret since they already knew what we went through.
We'll wait to share with extended family/friends later (likely 12wks).

All of our family & close freinds knew we were doing IVF so they know but everyone else we will tell 2nd trimester

We told our parents at 9 weeks. Then once we hit 12 weeks the flood gates opened for everyone else!
The hardest part was convincing my dad not to tell anyone until he got permission!!!

We shared with our immediate families at about 8 weeks (when we saw them in person since we don't live near them). Our closest friends knew at about 5 weeks because they figured it out and I did not want to lie to them. We are waiting until the end of the first trimester to share with everyone else (which is next week  ).

I told my sister and 2 friends at probably 6-8 weeks, the rest of the immediate family at 12 weeks and friends after the first trimester. We don't have parents to tell, if so I am sure I would have told the parents around the same time I told my sister.

I did the same thing.....for the same reasons.

Between 5/6 weeks.
Our friends put it together b/c we were away on vacation with them and I wasn't drinking. 
We told the immediate family at 6 weeks b/c they were all together at our home for a party. It was getting hard to have conversations with them and not slip.

We told our parents, siblings, and a very few very close friends around week 6 or 7. Everyone else we began telling when I entered the 2nd trimester.
It's so much fun to finally share the news!
