What time was your DC's bday party?

we had his first b-day start at 1. Next time I would pick 2 b/c most toddlers nap from noon to 2.

something close to that time frame
and the party will only be 3 hours at a restaurant

DS's 1st birthday party was from 2-5....That was a good time for him...Not his nap time!! We had the hall until 6 so we were able to relax for a while after every one left...

1st bday party was 1-4 at a restaurant.
2nd bday party will be 10-12 at a kiddie party place.

At a small hall, planning on 2pm - 5pm.
BUT I just realized that DS usually naps in the afternoon and I totally wasn't thinking about that...hmmmm.

We have our Children's parties with the Family at Home on Sundays around 2pm. Everyone leaves when they want which is generally 7-8 pm...

oh good point- DS usually naps around 12 so I will prob make his 1-4 or 2-5.

I just wanted to add that most toddlers do nap in the afternoon but not necessarily end at 2.
For us, 2pm would be the absolute worst time because it would be smack in the middle of DS's nap time.
We are somewhat new the bday game but the 2yo bday parties we've been invited to are either weekend mornings and late afternoon (4pm). I think the sat morning time slot is most popular for toddler bday parties.
