What do you use to clean the floors? When did your DC start crawling or scooting? Trying to get prepared for crawling.
Almost 7m old DS currently swims on the floor. He isn't quite mobile yet but I'm sure he will be in another month or so.
When did your DC scoot and crawl?

Proper crawl at 8 months, he did a backward crab crawl somewhat around 7 months.
I use vinegar to clean my hardwood floors, and generally vinegar in the bathrooms (occasionally bleach to get up germs).

Bleach diluted with water on my tile floors to kill germs. I have a big dog and don't want her tracking anything in the house.

DD was doing the same thing at 7 months and in the past two weeks (just turned 8 mos) she is full on crawling. We have carpet so we just try to vacuum a lot.

I used diluted bleach and made sure to do an extra water wash after the initial mop.
Also during that time we tried our best to take shoes off in the house.

ds scooted at 6 months, army crawled at 7 months, didnt do a really crawl until 11 months.. but that was because he was so fast with the army crawl and got everywhere that way.... did wonders for his clothes....
i have hardwoods so i use a dry swiffer most of the time and use a wet swiffer once a week.. then i use mop & glow once a month...
the kitchen i wet swiffer every few days....
i do wash the floors after ds goes to bed so they are beyond dry in the am
