What do you tell your kids

I am so tired of this ****** up country and the hatred of others who are different. My daughter who is almost 13 saw the story about the teachers who dresses up as mexicans and the wall. I am at a loss for words these days...

I tell my kids that some people just plain suck and how it important it is for them to be better than the bullies, the hate and the horrible.I don't focus on the negative but instead I teach them to be kind and caring, to help others, to include everyone and to treat people how they want to be treated. It all starts at home.
