What do you guys hang/put in the pack n play to entertain the DC
Ped says now that DD is trying to pull herself forward she can't be in bouncey seat anymore so it's all pack n play. Are there things you can hang over the side or stick to the side for her to look at? Suddenly she's toyless and I want her to still have stimulation. TIA!

when you say pulling forward, do you mean she's trying to sit up and kinda looks like she's doing crunches? DD does this now and i don't know what to do for her...

Yes, exactly how I would describe it. It looks like she's doing ab crunches. ped asked me at today's visit if when I put her in seats she is trying to pull herself forward and I said yes. Dr. said if that's the case then she's too old for the bouncy seat or anything that doesn't have a 5 point harness b/c she'll pull herself forward and end up topping over onto the floor  . So, Pack n Play it is, but she doesn't have anything in there to entertain herself besides rolling over (which let's face it she's not enjoying b/c she screams bloody murder).

When we are at Grandpa's house I attach the Ocean Wonder aquarium on the side. It actually doesn't have the holes for the straps so I concocted (sp?) an attachment with a twist tie. Its far enough in the back the DD can't reach it or even find it so I feel OK about it.
Other than that I used to throw a ton of toys in there for her to chew or play with.

In the store they have these very simple color rings that attach to each other. Those are DS favorite. Also, they have those animal like things with the attachments that make crinckle sounds or squeek. They are made of material and can attach to the side of the pack n play and play mats. we have an elephant and DS loves it. The babysitter put a different one on each side of her pack and play to encourage DS to move from side to side. They're great and can go anywhere.

thanks, where did you find these? BRU? or anywhere like walmart target, etc.?
