We've generated over 5,000 Kwhs with the solar panels!
Over the weekend, we passed the 4,000 Kwh mark on our solar panels. I'm not ecstatic, but considering how much rain and cloud cover we've had this year, I think we're doing pretty good.

thats great!
how mush electricity does your house use during the summer (with AC)? are you generating more that you are using?
We are looking into getting solar. I think you said you had central ac and computers and TVs right?

We are looking into getting solar. I think you said you had central ac and computers and TVs right?
Right now, we're using more than we're making, but in the spring we were making extra power. On decent days, we're generating just over 30Kwhs/day, and with the A/C going, we're using in the mid 40s. Without the A/C, we're usually in the mid 20s range, sometimes lower if I can convince DC to play with their toys and leave the TV off for a while...

that is awesome! my husband is really itching to do this...as am I.
we may look into it when we redo our barn and put the panels on there...it gets crazy sunlight.
