Went to a really good Italian restaurant last night!
Mama's in Copiague. Someone gave us a gift certificate for it, and we did never heard of it, it was so good. I had chicken with spinach and ricotta cheese and on top of it there was marsala sauce and mushrooms, it came with pasta , salad and these amazing garlic knots. DH had veal and shrimp parm and loved it. Portions were huge!

I love that place. My sister lives in Copiague and I eat there with her sometimes, yea, the portions are huge. That place is always packed no matter what day of the week it is :)

Monday's is pasta nite-
its 7.99 for salad, pasta, cheesecake and coffee-
they have 40 pastas to choose from!

yup, but don't go there very hungry, you do have to wait a long time to get a table. They have a chicken night too I think. Giovanni's in Massapequa does the same thing. Both yummy places.

if you go either right at 5pm or at liike 8 pm you wont have to wait that long -
or go during lunch!
yes chicken night is thursdays.

I'm just referring to Pasta night, all the other times are fine! I should have specified that, thanks.
lol yes you wait a long time on mondays (except for the times i mentioned) but its so worth it!

yep, chicken night is Thursday's. For $10.95 you get salad, garlic knots (the best ever), your choice of about 20 chicken dishes, coffee/tea and cheesecake. But go early - by 5pm the line is out the door!

we ate at the pizzaria/restaurant near our house, and it was GREAT - but no mamas!
