Weekly Menu 11/2

I am soooo new to this, but thought I'd start it for the week.

Mon: Hope to run, so burgers and fries

Tues: Stir fry-panko fried tofu and chicken with rice and brocolli, thai soup

Wed: Hope to run, so pasta w/homemade sauce and salad

Thurs: French bread pizza with pepperoni
a la the frugal girl

Fri: Baked ziti or lasagna

Sat: take out

Sun: game hen in crockpot for DH and veg. soup

Sat: Dinner party at a friend's place...I brought mini cheese cakes (strawberry, cherry, chocolate and pumpkin) and Pumpkin Whoopie Pies mmmmm

Sunday: Homemade pea soup and corn bread croutons with spiral ham and provolone paninis

Monday: Pasta with Sauce & meatballs

Tues: Leftover pea soup/panini

Wed: Possible game 6 World Series

Thurs: Possible game 7 World Series

Friday: Chili (3 meat) and corn muffins

Sunday: BBQ Chicken Breasts, White Rice, Grilled Corn

Monday: Chicken Stew over Noodles, salad

Tuesday: Meatloaf, baked scalloped potatoes, sugar snap peas

Wednesday: Homemade Pizzeria Style Sausage Rolls & Cheese Pizza.

Thursday: Sauage & Peppers, Spanish Rice, Corn

Friday: Homemade Sweet & Sour Pork over White Rice. Vegetable Lom Mein


Unofrtunately we did not have this :( We moved 2 weeks ago and I left the meat at my MIL's the day of the move for safe keeping (it was chaos that day). So hopefully we will pick them up this weekend and have it next week. :)
Dry Aged Black Angus Rib Eyes, Baked Potatoes, Sauteed Wild Mushrooms, sauteed broccoli rabe, semolina bread, Castle Rock Pinot Noir (DH & I have been waiting on this meal for a while! lol)

Monday: Turkey and Elk (turkey for my husband and older child - elk for my younger son and myself.)Taco Tacos (we spread refried beans and/or sour cream on soft taco shells and then stick them to hard taco shells and fill 'em up!

Tuesday: Tuscan Chicken, Fettucine noodles, Caesar Salad

Wednesday: Stuffed Shells, Red Sauce, Chicken Sausage, Garlic Bread, Tossed Green Salad

Thursday: Baked French Toast, Bacon, Citrus Salad

Friday: Pizza

Saturday: Roasted Pork, Acorn Squash, Brussel Sprouts, Beet Salad.

Monday- Spanish chicken and rice.

Tuesday- Sausages, and pinwheels in a light meat sauce over pasta.

Wednesday- Oriental chicken salads, Romaine lettuce, warm grilled chicken, mandarin oranges,tosted almonds, sesame seeds,w/ sesame ginger dressing and cresent rolls on the side.

Friday- Going to the hockey game.

Saturday- Steak, baked potatoes, veggie, shrimp cocktail.

Sunday- Pork roast and saurkraut- baked yams and a salad

monday- chili with rice and cheddar cheese sour cream

tues- oven stuffer with rosemary thyme lemon. oven roasted potatoes- corn

Wed- Marinated Rib eyes with bakes potatoes and veggie

Thurs- Home made Chix soup and noodles

Fri- Chicken Cacciatore made in crockpot

Sat Beef and broccoli over white rice _ ( my kids favorite)

This is an easy week for me! I only have to cook 1 night.

Mon - Dinner out for DH birthday

Tues. - Turkey Cutlets, roasted potatos and green beans

Wed. - Dinner at my brothers

Thur. leave for Buffalo

Fri. Buffalo

Sat. Wedding in Buffalo

I go from Saturday to Friday since Sat is when we do our shopping Chat Icon

Normally I wouldn't have so many dining in/out meals, but my mom was here on Saturday so we took her out for dinner... and Sunday I was stuck on bedrest!

Sat - went for italian

Sun - brought in greek

Mon - Lighter chicken enchiladas with guacamole

Tues - Baked tortellini, salad

Wed - Meatballs stuffed with mozzarella cheese, garlic bread

Thurs - Chipotle-spiced grilled chicken, salad

Friday - chef's night off!

Tuesday: Going out with friends.

Wednesday: Italian sausage and pepper heros, homemade roasted potatoes, corn.

Thursday: Leftovers.

Friday: Going out to dinner.

Saturday: Chicken lo mein with lots of veggies, pot stickers.

I'm not a big fan of refried beans. DH was. I took a can of black beans, spiced them up with some cumin/chili powder/salt to taste and mushed with a little chicken/beef stock and warm.
Some consitency, and a healthy alternative

Wednesday - Chili and Corn Bread

We eat the Fat Free canned variety.. so it's not too terrible. But I definitely will try your way the next time I need refried beans - it sounds delish and definitely has less sodium! Thanks!Chat Icon

I have been sick so I have been puttin in minimal effort.

Monday: Pot Roast with Carrots and Potatoes

Tuesday: Chicken Stirfry

Wednesday: Warm Spinach Salad w/ Chicken Sausage, roasted portabello, fingerling potatoes, peppers, garlic and goat cheese w/ a balsamic and mustard vinagrette

Thurday: Maple Glazed Pork Tenderloin, Spaghetti squash w/ pine nuts, pecorino and sage, rasted brussel sprouts.

Friday: take out

Tuesday: flank and potatoes
Wednesday-not sure yet, DH isn't going to be home for dinner...
Thursday-Baked chicken tenders (trying a new recipe) and side (TBD)
Friday-stuffed chicken (from the butcher) and a side

Feeling like cleaning out the fridge this week...can you tell?!

Tuesday: butternut squash and potato soup, plus leftover riceballs from the weekend
Wednesday: Sloppy Joes

Then, I luck out for the rest of the week eating at my mom's and my MIL's!

Monday - tacos with roasted corn salsa on the side.

Tuesday, pork chops stuffed with apples & almond stuffing, mashed potatoes, and sauteed asparagus

Wednesday - steak with left over mashed potatoes, & zatarain's black beans and rice.

Thursday - pasta with fresh tomato & garlic

Friday - WEDDING AT RUSSO'S

Saturday - up in the air. Usually take out with friends...possibly Greek

Sunday - dinner at my moms

Sunday: chicken breast stuffed with spinach and feta served with Trader Joes chimichuri rice

Monday: Spinach and ricotta ravioli with a creamy tomato sauce and salad

Tuesday: Nothing DH had over time so he ate out

Weds: pot roast with red wine sauce served with rice and roasted potatoes

Thursday: seared salmon toped with white wine, garlic and lemon sauce and brown rice

Friday: no clue

Saturday: no clue
