Weekend trips to see fall foliage
Can anyone recommend a fun town, places to stay maybe 2-3 hours north of the city? I really want to do a weekend upstate to see the colorful leaves! If anyone can recommend a brewery or winery that does a great tasting that would be great too! I was thinking of maybe the Woodstock area since I’ve never been, seems like a cool town.

Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown are great little towns with things to do and spots to see leaves.

I always wanted to stay at the Roxbury Motel in the Catskills because it just looks so cool There are quite a few wineries/brewery places in that area too!
Its roughly about 3 hours away.

I have been to Hunter Mountain before and it was breathtaking!!
You can take the ski lift up.
Not sure when, but I am sure the website might have some info

Its roughly about 3 hours away.
I’ve actually stayed there before! In December of 2015 dh & I spent a few nights there in “Fred’s Lair” the Flinstones themed room. It was super cozy & fun! Not much to do in the winter nearby (we don’t ski)...but it was nice to hang at the spa & in the room! I follow the owners on Instagram & they’ve been renovating & adding a lot!
