Weeds
I think I posted this before but I can't find it. How do you deal with weeds in your garden and lawn? Do you spot spray them or pull them up? Which is best to keep them from coming back?

You should get mulch of some sort for your garden. Put it around the flowers and that should help to prevent the weeds from taking over. I'm not too sure about the lawn though.

I use Preen for my gardens and Scotts Fertilizer with Weed Control for the lawn. If a stray weed pops up in the lawn, then I spot spray with a weed killer that will not hurt the lawn or I just pull it out. All I know is that if weeds were money, I would be a freakin' billionaire.

My DH sprays with round-up for weeds along the driveway, but that is too strong to use on grass or flower-beds.

In the garden in the back there was a large mystery plant so I fertalized it... it turned out to be the biggest dandelion plant! I should have taken a pic and sent it to Guiness
