Wedding gift (for a kind of unique situation)
Friends of ours just got engaged this week and are getting married on a cruise in March. (2nd marriage for both).They weren't planning on asking anyone to go on the cruise with them - not because they don't want anyone there, but because they didn't want anyone to have the expense of a destination wedding. DH and I decided we would love to go, to be there for them when they get married (and its a nice vacation, too!) They are so excited that we are going and we are so happy to be going to share their special day. We would love to do something special for them/get them a special gift. Any ideas on what we could get them?

Some cruises do gift baskets you can have sent to their room. Maybe you can do one of those?

I don't know how much you're looking to spend, but one idea would be an excursion while they're on the cruise.
If you're looking to spend less, then take lots of photos on the vacation and have them made into a nice photo book?

GC for a couples massage on the cruise.
GC for the week membership to the spa for use of their facilities.
You could call ahead to the cruise line and arrange for their room to be decorated with congratulations items, send flowers, cakes, bon voyage baskets.

GC for a couples massage is a great idea. Treat them to dinner one night at one of the specialty restaurants. Depending on what line you are going on, you can treat them to a drink package.

You could extend their vacation by a night, either before or after the cruise, and arrange for a night in a nice hotel in the city of the port they are leaving out of.
Otherwise, I think all of the ideas posted above are great.

Look at the amenities of the actual cruise. They have everything from baskets to champagne etc etc.
Depending on how much you want to spend, get them a GC for the spa on board for a couples massage, dinner in one of the restaurants NOT included, pay for an excursion.
