We had a great time at Harbes Farm today!
If you haven't taken your toddler/kids out there yet to go strawberry picking and to enjoy a day, you HAVE to do it! It was one of the greatest things we've done yet.
We went today with my sister and her daughter, and it was fantastic. The girls were having fun trying to sneak berries out of the baskets, plus across the street they have a whole big play area with a small farm, pony rides, bean bag toss, ring toss, roasted corn, etc.
It was great. I will try and post pics but my internet connection hasn't been great lately so I'll see what I can do!

PS.. oh and the strawberries are AMAZING!

We've been there pumpkin picking. It never even occurred to me to go off season. I'll have to check it out!

It is in Mattituck on Sound Road. I can give you directions if you want to. I'd say it's about maybe 20-25 minutes from Riverhead. We went from Levittown and it was an hour and 45 minutes. Totally worth the ride though.
