Was anyones DD/DS miserable after their 2 month vaccinations?

DS went today and got 3 shots and the rotavirus and he is screaming his head off. I gave him Tylenol and he is finally sleeping, but is still letting out a cry here and there. Did this happen to anyone else? He doesn't have a fever as of now.
I wish I new about the rotavirus vaccine and how new it was. I would of refused it. I'm so mad!!

I'm sorry about your little guy. Rotavirus is a nasty virus and it's very common so we also gave this to DS (there's more than 1 dose of it just so you know). My ds went through same thing but for his 3 month shots. He ran a fever for a couple of days and was sleeping a ton, it took a good few days before I felt like he was back to normal. You feel so guilty when they get a reaction however you are really trying to do what is best for them. Every visit when he gets more vaccinations I feel so guilty, you can't help it.

my DS was miserable after those shots too. He cried a lot and being that he was my first child I cried right along with him. I did give tylenol and he was red at the injection site. I had to put warm compresses on it. But we made it through. We just had our 18 month shots and now we are done until he is 4. You will make it through. Give lots of hugs and kisses.

YES!!!!!!!! I think I posted about it, too. It'll go away in a day or two. Tylenol and hugs from Mommy and Daddy helped. No worries.

I remember that DD was super-tired and slept quite a bit more than usual. As for the rotavirus vaccine, she got that one too. I was glad she got it because rotavirus can involve lots of vomiting, which can be dangerous for someone so little. I had a smidge more peace of mind.

My lil man was also miserable after his 2month shots and he only got the Dtap and Hib. He cried for an hr straight and was miserable! Tylenol def helped!
