sorry ladies, i signed off, and wasnt able to get to you fast enough..it was from 9-1..BUT they are giving them out in Hicksville tuesday..and back again at that park (Clinton Martin?) on marcus avenue, again next Sunday...they are vaccinating ANY child under 9 (over 6 months old)...anyone between the ages of 16-24 anyone pregnant, and anyone with chronic health issues..you can call the dept of health for more answers..i listened to the pregnancy services message, but ask anyone who answers..

they WILL give boosters, as long as its over 30 days since the first shot.

i hate to say it, but they didnt check medical records or ANYTHING..i would go and say youre anemic and your immunity is very low because of it, they even allowed for healthcare workers..they didnt require ID, they didnt ask for any proof of any kind (although my belly is proof enough) i seriously, would just get there early and give it a try..they were letting husbands get the shot if their wife was preggo, or if there was a newborn at home..tell them you have a newborn, theyre not gonna give you an internal lol
i say if you really want it, try it..get there early, (at least an hour before they start) this way, you can be first in line, and youll know either way

It is supposed to be four weeks I thought, not thirty days?

I was planning on going, but got a call on Friday that my pedi scheduled my kids for the shot, so we didn't have to go! My DH would have been pizzed if I made him wait over 2 hours on his only day off this month!
