they were showing all the fans, biting their nails, on the edge of their seats, etc. Then they show this otherwise normal looking youngish guy-- and he starts like twisting his beard hair really hard, which was weird enough-- I guess he was trying to get a good chunk out... then he put it in his mouth!!!!!
DH rewound it to show me... UGH. I am so disturbed by this!

I cannot even comprehend why someone would want to do that... and it's not like picking your nose and eating it-- where it's a bad habit acquired when you are a little kid or something-- he's only been able to have facial hair since puberty!
There are some werid arse people out there.

OMG! How weird!! He totally did eat it, there's no other explanation. Like he didn't scratch or rub his lip or anything, he totally chomped it up! People are freaks!

I've had patients who did that. That man could have a disorder called trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling) with trichophagia (ingesting of the pulled hair). Not that it makes it any more pleasant to see on TV!

I googled it last night after I saw this cause I found it so disturbing... and apparently this TTM is something that people do when they are stressed out, etc., and is manifested by some major event in one's past.
