My DH came in and I was sitting there hysterically crying, saying "don't ask me why. Something bad happened!!" Lol and he kept thinking it was Judith because the last time I was like that over this show was when it looked like zombies got her in the prison. He is watching it tonight so then I can talk about it!!
I thought for sure he was dead, but without having a thing for him on the Talking Dead I am starting to see the possibility of him being alive. However, he could just be the focus of a flashback episode and they could be holding off on doing a tribute until it's really his last show. I hate this, it feels like I'm watching Game of Thrones with the Jon Snow storyline!

I yelled at my tv - stood up and yelled.
i couldn't believe it.
But as much as i hate that it happened to him, i think i'm going to feel pretty annoyed if they make it that he survived that. That whole scene was so tense and so powerful that it would be almost insulting to us have it be that he survived.. Why do that to the viewer?
The whole point of this show is that anyone can and probably will die in their f'd up world. As awful as it was to watch, i will feel duped if they have him come through it all after we've all mourned him..
And did anyone else catch the major spoiler about Rick's situation that they said on Talking Dead? Ugh, i hate knowing anything that could possibly happen later on in the show. This is the one show that i want to watch and experience fresh and as it happens.. not with any preconceived notions of what might happen.
I've told my DH many many times - if they kill off Darryl, i can't watch anymore.

While the show has defintely killed people off with abandon in the past (Dale, Andrea, etc), I bet Glenn's still alive. If you were getting your intestines pulled out, I'm pretty sure you'd be dead already, or at least have passed out from the pain. He got out of downtown Atlanta wearing Zombie guts in Season 1, so I bet he'll do it again.

I was hellbent yesterday morning on him not surviving...and then ways he could have survived were all over the damn internet! lol. Now I think he did survive. I read an article with a few ways he could have survived - crawling under the dumpster, camouflaging himself in guts, someone else creating a distraction (like the car horn) or if it was all in Nicholas's mind while he was panicking, but didn't actually happen.
Either way, the more I read about these things yesterday, the more I believe he is alive. I kinda wish it wasn't so unrealistic because no one else would be able to make it out, but I love Glenn so I'll be happy with it as long as we get to actually see his escape - not just see him show back up at Alexandria.
I read that we don't see what happened to him until Episode 7... which is Nov 22. But hopefully that's wrong.

There is absolutely no way he is dead. Nick fell on top of him and got ripped apart. I betcha Glen is going to climb under the dumpster and hide out. Everything is way too shady with the interviews, no Talking Dead send off, and the camera angle. They wouldn't do that to an original at this point in the show.
That's what my son was saying, I'm just not buying it. OMG I loved Glen, poor Maggie. No one is safe!!

Well some asshat on Facebook ruined the spoiler for me but I finally got a chance to watch this on my DVR last night. I know people are saying Glenn is still alive but didn't we see his guts getting ripped out? Maybe I saw wrong.

This is true and you make a valid point. While I hate to see Glen go; if he is alive; would really be a whirlwind for me. It almost wouldn't make sense.

As unfathomable as it may seem, I'm 99.9% sure that he is not dead.
He is an integral part of a huge story line that occurs in the comics and from what I've read, this story line will also play out in the show at some point soon.
My theory for his escape is that he will be so covered in Nichols' blood/guts, that it will mask his human scent (like when Carol covered herself in blood to infiltrate terminus). He will then be able to run through the crowd of walkers or roll under the dumpster and something will happen to lead the herd away, enabling him to get away. Totally preposterous, but could still happen.

I really thought Glen was dead, but like everyone else I am now reconsidering. I hope he's not dead. What a ****** way for him to go. Stupid Nicolas.

i LOVED it
i've heard so many people ******** about it because they didn't address the Glen or Rick issue, but i honestly thought this episode was great. They do that on this show and it fits so well.
Such a roller coaster of emotions, so well done..seriously.

I liked the Eastman character, I found that whole part interesting however, I don't think Morgan deserved an hour and a half episode dedicated to just him. He's such a minor, minor character that's only popped up here and there over the years. I don't think we needed that much detail. They could've easily gave his backstory while showing the other characters and things going on. Dedicating an entire EXTENDED episode to him was overkill IMO.

I was pissed that they were having a Morgan episode after the huge episode the week before.... But the episode was actually very good and explained well where Morgan got his thinking from. I really liked Eastman and was upset at the end. And the poor goat!
