Walking Dead gives me such bad anxiety
I read today something I hope is NOT true....
That at the end of the finale Negan will murder one of the main major characters....but we don't know which one for 7 mos as we wait for the season 7 premiere.
Truly hope that is a wrong rumor but that is what I read about how the show ends and you only get the POV of the person being murdered, you don't see their face of who he chooses.

I think it's going to be Daryl... Glen is too obvious since that's what happened in the comics. Not only that, but Daryl has a personal problem with Dwight... so it just makes more sense that he's the one that'll be killed. I REALLY hope I'm wrong but it's just a gut feeling.
And yes, I think they're going to wait until October until we know who Negan kills. :(

I just need this finale to be over.. i can't take wondering what is going to happen now!
I can't believe that they'd have Darryl be shot at the end of this episode (which btw i don't think is anything serious), and then go on to kill him. That's cheap.
If what you said above is true (waiting 7 mos to find out who was killed)..that's awful!!
ugh, i almost don't want to watch.. but i have to!

yes. i kept yelling at the TV and DH asking why the hell are these idiots just stopping to talk out in the open. wait till they get safe!! WTF is their problems.

The Talking Dead announced that Norman Reedus is going to be on the finale show. They never have the person killed pre-announced on the talking dead.
Then again, since they're not going to show until next season then I guess all bets are off.
Plus if they are going to kill him off, while go thru the shooting this week?
I don't know.

I totally agree on the anxiety! I literally am anxious from start to finish of that show. Kinda happy it's ending this weekend. LOL. My nerves on on edge the whole entire time. I literally get a stomachache! I really am hoping that if SOMEONE dies we at least know who it is. -__-

I wish they'd stop hyping the finale. I'm sure it's going to be good but the spoilers are ruining it.
That said, I hope there is a dumpster in those woods for Daryl.

I had a feeling they were gonna do that... and that's the problem. The show is becoming predictable. I have always been a big fan and I see that people are FREAKING out on message boards and on facebook about this...but it is what it is! They want the huge numbers for the premiere in October.
Do I agree with how they did it? Nope... they should have shown us who was killed. But I get that from a business standpoint, they probably want the numbers in 6 months. Or they haven't decided who it's gonna be yet! But now I really think it needs to be an original character...not someone like Abraham or Eugene. It has to be an original to matter.

I thought it was great. A little slow and probably didn't need 1 1/2 hrs for it but still.
I don't get why people are upset about the ending. It's a cliffhanger like most shows when they go off. They want you to talk about it and be mad, angry, wonder,, ponder and come back for the next season.
I didn't realize how many people Neegan had. It cool to see but now we know why. Noone wants to cross him. I wonder what will happen. I'm excited for it.

The entire episode was a build up.. with roadblock after roadblock (literally) thrown at them to show how bad of a situation they're in, and to see them get torn down and be totally in despair at the end when they meet Negan.
We were all feeling their pain, feeling the utter hopelessness of the situation and feeling the tension of who might be killed.
To have left it like that completely cheapens the death of whomever it ends up being.
When we all watch again in October, we won't be in that same tense anxious mindframe, we won't be in that moment again.. we'll just be watching to see who it is and that's it. It does a disservice to the viewers and the character to end it like that. The buildup has come and gone and whenever we see who was killed, it just won't have the same impact as it would have if they did it last night (and ended it right after).
Lets face it, that show has a HUGE following. They didn't need to do that for ratings. It was a giant tease all season for who was going to die at the end of the season when Neegan was being introduced and a giant let down to how good that episode was and could have been.

ITA. This show is better than a typical cliffhanger ending. We all knew that a main character was going, they just should've ended it with us knowing who it was.
On a side note - I am totally IN LOVE the Jeffrey Dean Morgan and want to have his babies.
