How many hours is your 1-year-old awake between naps?

Re: Wake time for 1 year old?

My DS is 13 months and most days he takes 2 naps (sometimes 1!) He usually wakes up about 8:30 and will nap 3 hours later...he will be awake for about 4 hours and than takes his second nap, which isn't nearly as long as his first..his first is about 2 hours, his second is 45 min-1 hour...he amazed me on christmas because he only took one nap and went 7 hours straight!!

that being said, I would say 3-4 hours

I'd say 5ish. It really depends on the day.
Anthony is pushing his morning nap later and later, so I think he is trying to drop his second nap. He used to have such a strict daily routine and he's switching it up on me now!

Typical Day
Wake Up: 6-7
1st Nap: 10-11am - He will sleep for 2-3 hours
2nd Nap: 3-4pm - He has been trying to skip this one
Bedtime: 630-7

when DS was 1, he would wake at 7 and then go down for a nap around 10-12 then nap from 4-5 then down for the night at 7

Thanks all. DD always did 3 hours, but this week, she's pushing her morning nap later. She's taking forever to fall asleep. I'll try putting her down a little later. I don't think she's ready to drop a nap, so hopefully she's just ready to stay awake longer than 3 hours in between naps.
