Update **I am home**and prayers requested please! Long
Sorry I've been not too forthcoming with my situation, I tend to regress a little when things are not going well.
Retrieval was Sunday and they got 7..I had wanted more, butdon't we all. Then Dr. Stelling called and said all 5 that I froze in December didn't make it through the thaw, as I previously posted.
Honestly, it took the total wind out of my sail, I was devastated and a bunch of other things. But 5 of the 7 fertilized so that was good. Dr. S. doesn't recommend freezing b/c of what happened.
We have decided not to do PGD and go ahead with whatever God gives us and have faith. Well, try to have faith, I'm having a hard time with that today.
Dr. S. called me today - 3 of the 5 are doing great and are at 8 cells already, the other 2 are still developing, but not at 8 cells yet, he said they can still catch up. So we decided for a transfer tomorrow of all 5, or whatever is still developing by the time I get there. T-Time is 11:15 am.
Please wish me luck and your prayers. Especially the prayers. I am struggling right now with my faith and I need prayers for that in particular.
Sorry I have not been around so much, please know that I catch up and read everything, even if I can't post to everything, I pray for you all.

P.S. - Started the PIO shots last night, boy do they S*CK!
**UPDATE - I AM HOME. It went very smoothly, the 10 mg of valium was awesome. LOL. Seriously, it took the edge off and I didn't have any discomfort with the catheter. Dr. Trivax did the transfer, he is very funny. All 5 went back in, but 1 was on the fence..There was 1 A, 2 B's and 2 C's. So now I wait.
I can't tell you all how much your prayers and support have meant to me in the past 24 hours, you have all really helped me. I am thankful for you all.

Oh Patty, good luck. 3 of them being 8 celled is awesome, look at it that way! Let's hope all 5 catch up...I'm excited, this is going to be it!!!

good luck. Try not to think of the negative. You will have 5 to put back. That's excellent.
Frankly, 5 is probably the limit that could be put back for anyone.

Good luck Patty!!! I'm praying so hard for you!!! I'm so glad to see an update from you! I was worried about you  I'm so sorry that you didn't get the outcome you were hoping for, and that your plans are changing. You are SUCH a strong woman though, and I know you will find your faith and optimism. Please let me know if you need anything. I'm here for you.

Patty.. As I was reading this post I was actually driven to go get my Bible (and by the way thank you for that) and I remember reading something in Proverbs that I feel very confident you need to hear right now.. Here it goes..

"People may plan all kinds of things, but the LORDS will is GOING to be done"
Proverbs 19 21:
So all I can think of is that we all have our plans for these IVF's which involves man but you see how the Lord gets involved no matter what.. There is a reason you didnt do that PGD (i have my own opinion on that) but to me this is so obvious He took control of this just like he always does when it comes to his children being born.. Please have faith that his hand is in this and see nothing but this miracle happening.. Do not be afraid to hope.. Ask God to bless this process..
My prayer right now is for the Dr's handeling these embryo's and all the nurses involved.. I pray for wisdom and knowledge.. I pray that this is working out just exactly the way it is supposed to be.. I pray that when you are blessed in the end of all of this that you have no doubt what really happend here.. And your faith will be stronger than ever.. I pray this for you.. Amen..

I think you just weren't meant to do PGD after all, for some weird reason we will never understand (or we may). I hope you are not ready for your own TV show...all 5 huh.... Just kidding.

LOL. I don't know if there will be 5 when I get there tomorrow, I know 3, possibly 2 more if the others develop. We'll see how it goes. But I'm almost 41, so the RE doesn't have a problem with the 5 given my age.
