Ultrascreen scheduled at North Shore

Yeahhhh ultrascreen scheduled for the 28th....which means I am closer to the 3 month mark and I could breath a tiny bit easier!!!!


Anyone had their ultrascreen there?...What should I expect?...Internal? external? bloodwork?....will a doctor give me results right away??

I had mine there. The tech mentioned that "everything looked good." But I don't think they can really give you much information, so don't worry one way or another. You'll just go in and get an ultrasound. It's great -- they have big television screens so you can see everything that's going on while you're laying there. Sometimes it takes awhile because they have to get exact measurements and the baby doesn't always cooperate.

Then you'll get dressed and they'll prick your fingers for the blood work. That's it.

The results get to your doctor in about a week.

Oh, they will also print some photos of the baby for you. I loved these photos even more than the ones I got at my 20 week ultrasound.

Also, if DH can come, bring him along. My DH couldn't come and I really feel like he missed out. It was so fun to see the baby jumping all around.
