Ugh I feel so guilty
I tried trimming Ronan's nails today, he was laying there all happy smiling at me so I figured I would do it. This is the 1st time I did it. My BIL did it for me before and we filed them but he hates that. 1st one goes fine. 2nd one-he moves and I take a chunk out of the tip of his finger. He's crying, I'm crying..he seems better now. This poor kid went through so much in the NICU....I hoped to never cause him pain(I know thats unrealistic but..)
I put some neosporin with pain relief on it and it stopped bleeding and he is sleeping. Do you think I should skip his bath tonight?

awww poor mama and baby!!! I would skip bath, give it a little time to heal. I am petrified of cutting Adriano's nails, I filed them once and I keep his gloves on all the time.....

 I hate clipping nails. DS's nails seem to grow fast. He scratches me a lot so I try to keep his nails as short as possible. He hates when I clip them so I try to do it while he's sleeping.

My cousin did the same thing to Jack when hewas a few weeks old...it bled so much. My ped said to just throw a bandaid on it and it will be fine!

Oh I've done it.... TWICE!! Needless to say this kids nails are longer then mine and he has gashes in his face from them  They need a better way to get that done!!

I did it in the beginning too! Forgive yourself!! My DD is not scarred by it whatsoever but I was a wreck like you are.
