Tylenol/motrin Q..please!!
Hi,
My 15mth had her check up and some shots today and has been very clingy and cranky...so I want to give her something...should I give tylenol or motrin and what dosage should a 15mth old that weighs 21 lbs get?
I forgot to ask the ped this morning and I have placed a call now but she hasnt called back yet...

I give DD the amount it says on the Motrin bottle... I am not sure about the tylenol...

My DD is about 22 lbs. She gets 1.2 ml of Tylenol and 1.875 ml of motrin.

at her 1 year check she was 20 lbs and was ok'd for 3/4 tsp of children's motrin or I follow the dosage on the INFANT motrin.

I use the same dosage and DS is 23lbs. 110z.
I would use tylenol since she is irribatble from the shot. I like to save motrin for teething.

I have a sheet from my doc that tells Tylenol and Motrin dosages for all ages. I'll try to scan it later and share with everyone. It is super helpful because there is nothing more annoying than reading "consult doc" on the bottle at 2am.
