Turning car seat front-facing
We're coming up on the 1 year mark! It's 1 year AND 20 lbs before turning the car seat front-facing...right?? Just want to make sure.

Yes!!! 1 year and 20 pounds!......We turned Claire's around a few weeks ago and she LOVES facing forward!

Yes, they must meet both criteria. And I've read that if you can leave it rear facing for longer than that it's safer. Your seat manual will have the upper weight and height limits for rear facing.

Yes, but Jenn I was looking at Jeremys seat last night and I dont want to turn it around, ever. Turning around means I have a big boy!

Tell me about it!! Mallory WALKED holding my hand all the way into Jordans school today, I almost cried, she's getting soooo big!

I did it at 16 months becasue that is when Jillian hit the 20lbs mark....
and yes its both...20lbs and 1 year

1 year and 20 lbs is the minimum. Waiting longer is safest.
