I just am a silent stalker on these boards because I know I'll get ripped a new one if I admit I support him - which I just did I guess LOL. But that's ok, my parents taught me never to discuss politics so I'l go back to hiding. Nice to know I'm not the only one viewing these pages that supports him.

However, it feels like I am in the minority. It is mind blowing. I don't discuss politics because I never find it ends well........Other than one or two; most of my friends are pretty big Supporters of him. Some more than others.
So it is something I refuse to discuss.

No. As a mother of a little girl, I can't support a man who proudly boasts how he grabs vaginas. As a teacher, I can't support someone who makes fun of someone with a disability. Yeah...no.
But I also feel like I can't tell anyone I don't support him. I feel like I'll be branded with a Big Red X. Sad. It's like I have to whisper when I find someone who doesn't like him. Someone might hear us.

No, I couldn't ever. I am a History teacher, and all of the mistakes we've seen are being repeated by this man.
I am a mother, and I could never ask my children to respect someone who cannot tell the truth, to waiver on his stances, and to cheat on multiple wives.
In addition, I cannot and will not ever get past the mocking of a disabled reporter.

i legit want to know why anyone supports him.
Not even to judge them. i just don't understand what good he is doing. i wish i did know what good he was doing so i can understand why people actually support him still.
if its because you couldn't support Hillary i don't want to hear that that's old news. why now do you support him.
i have asked this tons of times for someone to tell me legit reasons why they support him and what good he has done and no one ever seems to tell me. I am sure I still wont get an answer
from what i can tell he just should not be a person in power i truly don't find him an intelligent person at all.

No. I honestly don’t know many people in my real life who do support him - other than my parents and aunt. I’m not even sure if my parents still support him.
If you know anyone furloughed, I don’t know how you could support his current actions. The money for the wall could go to a million better uses.
If he says one more thing about global warming being false due to cold temperatures, I’m going to scream. Global warming is the average global temperature for the year not a regional temperature on one day. Plus, the term global warming is outdated. Climate change is what he should be taking about it.

But I wouldn't have supported Hilary either. I didn't support either of them. I think the American people were dealt a crap hand with those two and I blame it on a combination of the media and the American people being stupid.

I had this conversation with an old coworker recently. He thinks illegal immigration is ruining our economy, and apparently believes the wall is going to solve that. He also is a Vet and retired cop, and believes trump is really rooting for our service people. I also see it as a generational difference, he believes in non-censorship, not worrying about other people’s feelings, he’s always been a big jokster and bordering on inappropriate. I wouldn’t say I thought he was a racist, but I have seen a stronger hate come out of him recently, his DS is trans and when I worked with him he was ok with it, and now I sadly don’t think that’s the case, or he thinks it’s at least ok to joke about it in memes on fb. And ex-military and retired cop, you aren’t talking him into gun control, because he’s dealt with criminals and understands the mindset of people who are willing to do anything to get hands on guns. And he’s pro-life .. just to give you a little bit from the other side, after that it became a spew fest about AOC, Clinton and Obama, and because I’m a republican, he thinks that’s the way to get me to see his side lol, but Trump isn’t a republican, he’s a lunatic who plays president like he’s on a ******** reality series.

I think people support him out of fear. Fear because they are struggling, aren't doing well financially, fear differences, etc. He blames all of our problems on immigrants and minorities, whether it is race, gender identity, ethnicity. This makes for a really horrific and disgusting situation.
The real issue is economic inequity. But Donnie is a trust fund baby rich guy who is really out to help himself and his friends. It is revolting and I can't even look at him, he makes me physically ill.
