Trump 2024
Just curious for those who were on the fence last election and we’re choosing between two terrible choices or just voting against trump….
If the current administration continues like this, would you consider voting for trump in 2024? Or would you still vote for anyone other than trump?
It’s a big debate between my group. I personally wish he wouldn’t run bc I think a lot of people wouldn’t vote for him still and if we could just get a more neutral candidate the right could win.

I think we need 2 new fresh people running honestly. Our choices have been horrible the last 2 times and most have had to vote for the lesser evil.
I wonder if people who voted for Biden are regretting it now though.

I will never vote for Trump so yes I would vote for anyone but him. My 10 year old would be a better candidate then him!!
Hopefully the republicans are smart enough to not let him run again. But I have a feeling that is not happening
I just want one election where we actually have two good candidates I am not associate with any party so I don’t care who runs for which party. We just need better candidates
ETA: I have absolutely no regrets for not voting for Trump and I will have no regrets the second time around if it comes to that. Anyone is better then him. People may think that his tweets and the way he speaks is no big deal when it comes down to what needs to be done. But it is you cannot be present and act like a big man child when you don’t get what you want or you don’t like what people say about you. It’s called being an adult sucking it up and acting like the bigger person.

I voted for Trump but I agree we need new candidates.
The problem is - there would be a better chance if they could get someone less extreme to run and I don't think they will. In either party...

I would absolutely NEVER vote for Trump. He was a disgrace and truthfully, a TWICE impeached former president shouldn't even be allowed to run. The fact that it's even a consideration for that party is utterly ridiculous.
That aside........................
I would really love to see two younger, hungry, intelligent candidates that bring a fresh perspective to the job. I don't regret voting for Biden simply because the other option was FAR worse however, two (almost) 80 year old white men are entirely out of touch, not relatable and cannot really understand or empathize with any of the issues facing my generation or younger.
There are plenty of young, capable men and women in Congress, I really wish we'd see one of them in office. It would be a breath of fresh air for this country.

I would NEVER vote for Trump, and I don't regret voting for Biden b/c 4 more years of Trump would have been horrible, but I am bummed that candidates don't usually seriously challenge when the same party is in office. I wasn't thrilled with Biden when he started rising to the top during the primaries, but he's 100x better than Trump.

I dunno. If Kamala is the opponent I wouldn’t take that bet. She’s terrible.

I agree with you on Kamala, however, there are many people- on this small thread alone for example - who would never vote for Trump. o matter what. So no matter how bad a candidate the Democrats put up, it wouldn't matter because people will vote for anyone in the entire world EXCEPT Trump.
That's why I think the Republicans need to find someone, anyone, else to run

The republicans can run anyone except Trump and probably win the election. I would love someone from our generation to finally be in office and start the fix the mess that has been going on for years (both democratic and republican caused)

I do not regret my vote for Biden because while he is making mistakes, and I am not blind to those mistakes, it is still 1,000 times better than Trump.
That being said, Harris and Trump would be two terrible candidates so I am hoping it doesn't come to that. There is actually one Republican I really like, who ran against Trump in the 2016 primaries. I also really love Pete Buttigieg for the Democratic nomination.
No matter what, it could always be worse. It could be President DiBlasio.

He’s declining. It’s tragic to watch, actually. There is no way he can be a two term president. He knows it and his team knows it.

I think everyone knew this when we was running. That's why his VP choice was so important but that doesn't seem to be working out too well either.
He chose his VP to check the boxes on race and gender-not actual qualifications.

I know there are a lot of people that would vote for ANYONE besides Trump - literally anyone. I hope Trump doesn't run in 2024 because we desperately need a Republican contender.
However, how can anyone honestly say that the state of this country right now today is better than it was during Trump's presidency? Things are absolutely horrific right now and only getting worse.

I never understand why people hate him so much. Yes he was a loud mouth, inappropriate speaker. He had a past but how many other Presidents had sketchy pasts? Clinton, Nixon, Biden. Our government sucks they all work against each other no one is out for the good of the people. I at least felt Trump was fighting for what was good for us.
I'm sure I'm the minority but it seems like aside from Trump the last few administrations are trying to destroy the country

They hate him because they knew he would uncover things that never have gotten done that could have and he did. Now we have shortages of almost everything, prices going up on everything and a president and VP that don’t know what they are doing. But you know, we NEEDED a woman in office. Now you got one that is doing NOTHING and you have no clue where she is half the time, who laughs at the most inappropriate times and things.
Anyone catch Biden the other day coughing into his hand and then going over and shaking everyone else’s hand? He doesn’t even think about what he is doing as he is not up to this and he was and still used as a puppet but at this point they don’t even know what to do as they got their way and now are screwed. AND in turn screwing this country up.
We need new blood, no matter where they come from. I would rather have a non politician who can get things done than someone in office forever who hasn’t done anything and only their for spite and color or gender.

That's like when Bloomberg ran the City it thrived. He was a businessman. People don't realize what all this means for their children. The freedom to choose what you want to do, who you want to be etc.....
Trump = bad because the news media said just like now Covid bad, Vaccine good
Trump bad, Biden good.
News is powered by the same people who want to rule the country and they don't care about us!
