Triggering tonight at 10:00!
Which means my retrieval is at 10:00 on Friday.

LOL...seriously, it is the BEST anesthesia ever!! I usually get sick from it, but NEVER from retrieval. Its such a awesome feeling when you are drifting off...and then you wake up...IT'S OVER!!!
You will not feel a thing. You might be slightly crampy when you wake up, but more than anything you will be STARVING!! Have DH take you out for a nice lunch!!!

I am new here but maybe I can make you laugh...
I was petrified to go for my retrieval=afraid of being put out--the whole thing.
The nurse was like a russian woman (I think from the accent ) she made me laugh because she said are you kidding?
If anything you want to do this part, these are better drugs then anything you can get on the street! This is the best part!
SHE WAS RIGHT!
all I remember was her in the procedure room with me tell me she knows how to sing and so does the doc.
I asked them to sing and next thing you know i woke up in the other room.
I never had anything but miniscule cramps, ate a donut and drank a ice coffee on way home and thats it.
I even went out shoppiing after that.
It will be a breeze.
And...who knows? I was lucky enough to have mine work the first shot. You never know.

Lisa is so right. I get nauseated from anasthesia but not this stuff, no sir!! I was having a ball all by myself, the clinic was hysterical with me. And they gave me apple juice that was soooo yummy afterwards. Then DH took me out for a great brunch, and I got to be waited on for almost a whole day!!! LOL. Enjoy it Lauren, this is truly the best part.
You don't feel a thing!
