Toys for 2 year old boys
What do you have and what would you suggest?
DS is into cars, trains and planes now, he loves playing with his ball (we have a basketball hoop) and he loves musical instruments. He is not into puzzles and blocks just yet but he loves books which I get him on regular basis.

Cailen is obsessed with dinosaurs. My friend gave him a cute little people dinosaur set that he loves. He also loves robots. Dh bought him a giant transformer with buttons that say things that he also likes a lot. He also loves boats even out of the tub, and sea animals.

I think that DS's biggest obsession is books. After that it's the sesame street character (all of them  )
We play with blocks. Building towers and knocking them down. He has Elmos Restaurant and we play with it and with play food. (I got some great Melissa and Doug pretend sets at his b-day party) We also include his sesame street characters and pretend that we're feeding them. Loves balls. Loves bubbles. Just starting to get into cars and trains.

Noah right now is obsessed with Trucks ( any...Fire trucks, tractor trailer trucks, dump trucks), Trains, Dinosaurs and books. We have a train table and he actually has the dinosaurs "attack "the trains" HA HA
HE also loves puzzles ( we just got a few "fishing ones" ...that use a pole and you fish the pieces, he loves those!) And Mr. Potato Heads. He has a whoel collection of those and will sit for a long time with them,
We also do art stuff. He has a book of coloring books, markers, colored pencils and watercolors .
He is also starting to get more into "blocks" ...we have the cardboard brick ones and also the Preskool Clipo Desk and the Parenting ones that kinda lock together. He likes those more and more.
Eta- and BUBBLES....LOVES them. We have so many bubble contraptions

DS loves his trains and train table (he also loves everything with wheels like your DS)
We did get a lot of outdoor toys for his birthday, a playhouse, trike, baseball set....

Charlie is all about cars and trains. For his second birthday someone gave him a set of 6 wooden Melissa and Doug cars and it's the one thing he always plays with.
