TMI Question

If you have hemorrhoids what are you doing about it? It hasn't been an issue but OMG since yesterday I am VERY uncomfortable.

O boy welcome to my world; I posted about this yesterday and also about 2 weeks ago. I've only gotten hit with this in the last 2 weeks so overall I'm lucky, but GEEEEEEZ what an awful way to end a pregnancy!!

OK based on trial and error and a LOT of recommendations from here Here's what helps me:

Tucks pads. Don't rub the roid, just grab like 2-3 pads and "tuck" it in there so the witch hazel can saturate that bad boy. Change pads when its dried out. I also used a maxi to catch any leaks.

Sitz bath/warm bath with epsom salts. Soak a few minutes a few times a day if you can.

Limit sitting. I'm trying to lie on my side, but even that is uncomfortable

Tucks and or Prep H ointment help too.

I use a peri bottle with room temperature water "down there" when I go #1 or #2

If your stools are hard get Colace; mine are soft right now, thank god.

Drink ROOM TEMPERATURE prune juice. Sorry, that's a rec from an RN and it actually does help.

Some folks like the suppositories but my hellroid is so big thats not an option right now

I'm just sticking close to home and jumping in the shower any time I go to the bathroom, I alternate between cool and warm water with the handheld showerhead, it feels a little better but lordy I would like this to go away now.

WHen all else fails I just b*tch and moan to DH about it. I literally called him at work today for just that reason, the poor thing must be sick of me by now but I don't care. Hope you feel better hon!!!
