TMI-Is it safe to use Monistat?
Im only 5.5 weeks pregnant but I already have an annoying yeast infection. Can I use Monistat this early on? I know you can use it later on in pregnancy (the 7 day course) but not sure since I am so early.

I'm not pregnant, but TTC (so I guess I don;t really know since I am in the 2WW   ). Just got over a yeastie. I spoke to the pharamacist who said it was ok for me to use Monistat 3 (since it has been less than 4 weeks since I got AF). Just a PSA that it was the worst pain that I have felt in my life!! I felt like my insides were on fire and sat in the bathtub for hours seeking relief. I never used the 2nd and 3rd dose, but treated it naturally and it went away. Not sure about Monistat 7, but after that experience, I would never use those products again! Stick to yogurt and garlic and it should clear it right up!

call your dr, bc i had one 2 weeks ago, and my dr gave me a perscription for monistat, but i was almost 16 weeks

No...I wouldn't...call your Dr and see. Mine gave me an external cream to use!

Thanks everyone. I called, they said it was absolutely ok to use. I bought the 7 day.
I agree though, using Monistat is torture. It makes it feel so much worse at first.
