Those who got the H1N1 Vaccine... QUESTION?
If you got the vaccine, did you have any side/after effects from the shot? (i.e. Did you come down with a cold or flu-like symptoms after receiving the shot?)

After much research and going back and forth (in my head) I gave in and got it last Tuesday. I had no reaction whatsoever, in fact, I almost forget that I got it. I didn't even have a sore arm like most people report.

I will admit I was already sick when I had the shot. I had a cough, congestion and lots of sinus pain. But when I heard my drs office had it, I didnt mention I was sick and got it.
I was no worse the next day. AND I got both the seasonal and H1N1 shot (each in one arm) My arm was MUCH more sore from the seasonal flu shot.

The day after I felt a little sluggish, like I was coming down with a cold but the day after that I was fine. No biggie.

I had no reaction - not even the sore arm I got with the regular flu shot.
DH got his about 10 days ago and said he felt more tired than usual. I'm always tired so I didn't really attribute it to the shot.

Did the shot you got have mercury in it? I called my obgyn and the nurse said they are getting them in next week and it will have some mercury in it.

I got the shot last Thursday and I am happy to report I did not have any side effects. The injection site didn't even hurt!

None-I got it over two weeks ago and have had no issues. I didn't have any side effects from the regular flu shot either.

I got the shot this past Wednesday, and had no side effects whatsoever. Not even a sore spot on my arm where the injection was.

Just like many other girls have said, I didn't even have a sore arm like I did with the seasonal flu shot! Go figure!

Me too. I got my shot over 2 weeks ago and have been fine. I got it at the same time I got the regular flu shot which I have never had before and had no reactions.

I got it about a week and a half ago (and was already sick with a cold/sinus congestion at the time) and had absolutely NO reaction whatsoever- I was surprised! Not even soreness on my arm. After I got the regular flu shot, I had soreness for a couple days, but with the H1N1 shot- not a thing!

Same as the other ladies, no side effects. Sore arm for a day (I had a sore arm for almost a week with the regular flu shot).
