Things happened so fast!
I havnt posted on this board in a while, but we passed on that home by the funeral home...
and we found something so much better, (not as gorgeous from the outside as that one) but just a great house, in a great neighborhood, on almost an acre of property, with lake rights, etc. it is just all around SO much better of an investment..
we put in an offer and have been going back and forth with them and everything was "to be continued" today and will probably come to the exact amount we wanted to pay for it!

... grrr! at this point we are both being stubborn and we are firm and told them we are willing to walk away from the house - now we have not heard back since last night.... keep your fingers crossed!
