again- I hate to bring up O and A- but they had a caller today that made a VERY good point
the DJs on hot 97 says not so nice things about white people every day- and that's ok
if you can dish - you should be able to take it
this is so silly- I'm sure he will get a show on sirus or XM (or I hope he does- his shoe being canceld will effect someone my Uncle reps and therefore his $$$$ also)

yep - that's pretty much the deciding factor for most everything. I'm sure their sponsors threatened to drop out b/c they would get backlash from certain communities.

yup, either yesterday or today, 3 sponsors backed out of his program...including a biggie: Proctor & Gamble.
that's the reason he was fired. they didn't care about what he said, they care that $$ would be lost in advertising

I was saying the same thing!
I think thats doubtful. My opinion is the only way satellite will pay his salary is if they know they are going to get new listeners from it. I dont think he has enough draw to bring new listeners to satellite radio.
Especially due to the merger, I would not be surprised if they did not bring on any new personalities until that is given the yay/nay.
