So good!! I knew that woman was creepy and crazy!!!! And WTH happened to that kid? Do you think he got sick and died from an infection, or do you think the virus the CDC guy from season 1 said they all have is mutating and attacking?
I love Glenn, Maggie, and Hershel and really hope they survive the season!! This show is so good bc I literally feel like any one of them could die at any moment (except for Carl...I think he's the only one who's safe!)

I think the dead pig and the nerdy kid both died of some sort of contagious infection. I think it's going to play a big part in the season. The kid was hacking into the water barrel they use to shower with.
The coming attractions with the bloody trail in one of the cells makes me think the kid kills at least one person in the cell block after he turns next episode.
I'm impressed to see how much they've done to the prison to make sustainable.
They always skip the winter every season, I know they're in Georgia but I would still like to see how they deal with the cold.
All of the new characters makes me feel like a few of the originals are about to get killed.
I also forgot how crazy the finale was until I watched it again last night.

They met focusing on one zombie on the gate who had blood Down his face from his eyes like the kid .... It is the same thing the pig has in my opinion

I noticed that too. Like hemorrhaging from the face and nose. I have a feeling the virus is now airborne or has infected the water supply. Maybe some are more susceptible to it than others.

That weird lady in the woods........I thought all along she was talking about her husband. Then the whole walk back to the tent was throwing me off & then realized it was her baby??
However, did you guys catch at the very end whatever was under that blanket next to it was moving. What do you think was under there???

I thought that was her husband "Eddie". Maybe just part of him that she had to keep feeding live food to?
It was a great premiere---my mouth was open the whole time and I felt very off and disturbed after watching it, which means it did its job!!

I watched 'Talking Dead' after and it WAS her husband- but all that was left of him was his head. She was just feeding his head.
I thought that lady was a zombie who could talk at first.
I didn't realize the zombie they were focusing on was hemmorhaging from his face. I thought he looked like the Governer and that's why they kept looking at him.
I wish Carl would get eaten already. I really can't stand him.
Also- I had no idea that Rick has an accent in real life! lol

I didn't think they skipped winter, but I was wondering about the seasons...at the beginning of season 3 they were kind of showing how they spent the winter on he run...I think last season was the end of winter/early spring, and I think we are currently In summer... Plus, the baby is still a baby, so I think it's only supposed to be like 6 months since they first got to the prison.
I have a feeling they are not gonna be staying at the prison much longer...I think that will be one of the problems this season (should they stay or go), and I'm sure the Gov will be back just as they decide they have to leave.

I love the show, but the part with that woman annoyed me, like really Rick, we don't have time to be following this lady through the woods and risking your life! Ugh he annoyed me more than Carl this episode! A lot of main characters (like Maggie) were saying things like I'll be fine or I'll be back.... the famous last words of most characters about to get killed off!

agree with everyone else - the kid and the pig are connected. this has to be a new mutation of the virus or a new way of transferring the catalyst to their already infected state
this was definitely an amazing premier. loved every second of it.
when the lady in the woods spoke to Rick I actually jumped in my seat and yelled at Rick to stay away from zombie lady LOL. the whole sequence was very suspenseful
did anyone notice when it was literally raining zombies that this season the zombies were more slimy? the way their body kept exploding against the floor and their skin coming off the scalp was incredible and super gross at the same time

I thought it was a great episode!!
The kid and the pig most likely have the same virus/bacteria. I was just commenting to DH that I was surprised no one has been sick yet since they are all living in such close quarters with limited hygiene available. I was not sure if the microbe killed the boy or the fall, but either way I am sure next week, he will instill terror in all of the residents of the jail.
The zombies have definitely changed "texture." I assume this has something to do with their decomposition.
