The question that has been asked a billion times.....
How do you know if you are leaking amniotic fluid or if is just urine? I know everyone says the smell, but my SIL said she couldn't tell the difference with hers and her water had broken all the way. Any insight?

I've heard to lay down for awhile then quickly stand up. If your water has broken, then you'll get a rush of fluid.

When I stood up from the couch.... all I felt was hot wetness...
I went to the bathroom not sure if it was fluid or pee, and when I thought it was done, and I could stand up safely, I did so, and all the more liquid came out!

hate to be crude, but you could always wipe and put some TP only where fluid would come out and wait several min....
after all, they come from seperate areas!
I've also heard the get up quickly from bed trick......
