The bloody eye and the rude woman- A Kelly Story
DS had an early morning dr appt. It was his pre-op 'physical'. We waited outside, waiting for them to unlock the office doors. Suddenly a frazzled mother and her two teenage sons come flying up and she's muttering how they are late for their 9:00 appt. (Same time as ours.) As she gets closer, the staff unlocked the door. She pushes past us to get inside. 
Her son held open the door for us to go in, but the rude mom had already signed in her sons and they were taken first to see the doctor. So her TWO sons get in before DS because she pushed. Then DS poops in the waiting room and begs for his diaper to be changed, over and over again. I really wanted to kick that woman. 
DS was very good at the dr, so I took him to McDonalds for his favorite breakfast. After eating, he decided to climb up on a swivel chair. Before I knew it, he fell right off it and hit the table on the way down. A scream like I have never heard before pierced my heart. His eye was bleeding and swelling shut.  
I scooped him up so fast and called the doctor as were driving BACK to the doctor's office. They immediately took him in for evaluation and luckily realized it is superficial.  
But they were all looking at me funny. I had no idea why, but it was very strange. We left the office and I looked in the rearview mirror. That's when I noticed my face was covered in biscuit and DS's blood. 
That's right. I'm sexy.
