Teachers who take NYSUT courses for credits!!
Hey -
I'm trying to drum up some business for a course!!! There is a course on Building Communication in Schools at the Long Beach Teacher Center starting in Jan - Thursday Night - 3:45 - 7:15. I really want to take this and want it to run!!! LOL - if you know anyone who lives near - or is interested...
Also - let's share info!!! If you've taken a NYSUT course - share info about the teacher!!
Two that I'm looking for info on - Fran Manas and Kathryn Travers

good luck with that!!
I took two NYSUT courses this summer, and I never worked so hard in my life!!! They are no joke!!
ETA: many people in my building steer away from NYSUT for this reason, and lean more towards Teacher Education Institute for grad credit, and Teacher Effectiveness for inservice. Ive seen a lot of NYSUT get cancelled.

I've heard that my district is cracking down on how fast you can get credits and NYSUT is one of the only ones you can take!!
Can you give me the websites or info for the others?
WHo were your NYSUT teachers - I'm scared!!
