Looks great! I teach kinder. and today was my first day off for the rest of the year! I'm having a baby any minute now! I miss my room and kids already!

Your classroom lookks amazing. It looks so organized and bright. Itis really students centerd which is so important.
I would love to have a classroom like that. I teach in the dreaded Hempstead. I teach Special Ed. I actually have to share a room with a half wall. Thats right no wall to hang stuff, no closet, and no windows that open. I cant forget no blackboard either. I am supposed to have a 12:1:2 ratio according to IEP's. My class is now up to 15 students 1 teacher and 1 assistant. Just imagine my room like that. Yep it is gross. Thankfully I am on maternity leave until May.

I love the feeling of elementary rooms. Kind of wished I went into Elementary ed instead of secondary math. I try making my room fun, but not too babish for the "too cool" 8th graders. haha

i have to say that i lucked out bc the school i teach in is brand new. its only 6 yrs old. everything is new. we have central air and elevators. they call it the 90210 of queens LOL

My daughter goes to a Hempstead school and as bad as it al is, we have been blessed w/ great teachers these past 2 years. Dh & I are very invloved in her school work & with her teachers. I think if more parents cared it be so different.
