Suggestions for background music for outdoor party?
Making a playlist...need recs! Right now we have the Gypsy Kings b/c I feel like it's good outdoor, chill, happy music. Any suggestions for crowd pleasers?

Don't know if you like him (seems people either love him or hate him), but Jimmy Buffett songs are very festive & relaxing.

You could either just set a radio to a low impact, all around station like 97.5 or how about getting a few mix CDs? I find 80s mixes usually go over pretty well for a large group of people.

I use a total different style of music for a backyard party.
In the summer, I use salsa, easy listening mexican music (like in restaurant), carribeans music. I like people to feel they are away and in vacation for a few hours.
Unless it's very formal of course.
I have those CDs I got at Target. They have themes.

I played the new Eagles CD, Laurie Berkner, Backyardigans, Jack's BIg Music Show (shout out to Chelle for those - yay we love em!!), and some Spanish music.
