do you let your toddler eat string cheese? do you pull it for therm, or just let them bite the stick?

DS likes to just bite it, he wont eat it if I pull it apart...so this is on the list of foods that scare the heck out of me when he eats them...

totally scares me too....I was going to eat it, but then of course he wanted it....so I decided to give it to him..even though he ate it fine, I don't think I am going to give it again for a long time.

YES! since DD was about 1 1/2.. she LOVES them- she just does it herself- sometimes she bites, sometimes she pulls... most of the time she shares w/ the dog

He has always ate it on his own, since we starting giving it around a year old.
He doesn't like Polly String cheese tho, he likes the stop and shop brand better

My son will eat it pulled and I'll cut it like I would a hot dog. I will not give it to him whole, a total choking hazard I think.
