Strange question re: baby's heartbeat
So I was taking a shower and I noticed my belly "beating" very fast. I held my breathe for a few seconds and my tummy was beating away. Could that be the baby? or was it just my own heartbeat? I had my DH see if his heartbeats in his belly and it didn't. He definitely saw my belly beating too. I'm 12 weeks today. I know i'm silly

Unfortunately it is probably your own heartbeat....you have pulse points in many parts of the body, the stomach being a big one. If you hold your breath for (pregnant or not pregnant) you will begin to see your belly beating...
Don't want to disappoint you!! But at 12 weeks it would be too early anyway to see the baby moving in the stomach...but you will soon!!

I was going to ask the same question. I can feel my heart beat when I put my hand on my belly. I feel it all over.
